Today was a particularly yucky rainy day, so my son and I decided to have a fun day filled with pancakes, Christmas crafts, and of course-playing with trucks! I also included a short tutorial on one of our Christmas DIY's. Enjoy folks!

My son turned two yesterday (*sobs*) and he LOVES dinosaurs! So I picked up a few packs of these plastic dinosaur figures at the Dollar Tree.

I took these out on the porch steps for a quick spray painting. I did two coats. While they were drying we made some pancakes!( Like
I need an excuse to eat pancakes.)
Don't you put your trucks on your pancakes?
After the dinos dried, I just affixed them to his little tree with some ornament hooks. Here's our results!:
Pretty simple! If you want to get fancy, you can drill a hole, and add a screw eye to attach your ornament hanger like shown in this pinterest tutorial:
